UMBWE ROUTE

6/7 days Kilimanjaro trek

Your choice here to choose this hardest route of mount Kilimanjaro the route is very unique especially day two of the trek the steep hike will go along the ridge between the big valley on your right side may see it if is a bright day and one of shorter to climb all straight to summit so need experience climber and one have already experience with altitude before, this route is not best for acclimatization excursion for entire trail although day two joined with Machame route and old Lemosho route at Barranco camp then proceeding together whether you schedules via western breach route or Karanga to Barafu base camp.

The route less traffic in the first two days before joining with crowds at Barranco camp for optional of via Western breach trail to keep less busy though need a special permit to cross over this route from its Arrow base camp the path to have a short section cross over big soft cliff often rocks fall and was some risks recorded so because of weather change which make the park authority sometimes to close the route for a period time.

The route is best for those who want to get climb the challenge and check their mountaineering abilities and the advantage of crossing crater camp on the way to the summit for just six days or five days even though the park permits the route not less than six-day.
