The below examples are based on a private trip for two climbers.

The cost of your trip can be broken down as follows

Park entrance fees and permits are set by the Government of Tanzania and are an important and significant part of the cost of a trip.

There are one-off fees for entry to the park, and also for (limited) rescue services. If entering via the Lemosho gate this is U$ 10 (plus 18% tax) per person; with a rescue service cost of U$ 20 23.60 per person. There are also reduced rates for each of the Tanzanian support team which are TZS 5900 per person

Once inside the park, the fees and permits are U$ 120 per climber each day. This is made up of a daily U$ 82.60 conservation fee, and a U$ 59 camping permit per person per night except for the Marangu route U$ 70.80 per person per night is in the huts accommodation

Crater fees U$ 118 per person if you request to stay a night at a high altitude( 5,729m)

What is included in the price?

All mandatory Park entrance fees/climbing permits plus 18% VAT included

Transport within Tanzania (Including airport pick-up/drop-off from Kilimanjaro Int. Airport)

Each morning purified water will be made available by the support team to fill water bottles.

Wages for professional licensed Guide, Cook, and Porters fairly according to Kilimanjaro National Park (KINAPA) and under their association’s payments recommended

Hotel accommodation in Arusha. There are many upgrade options for accommodation before and after your expedition – you will at minimum require one night at the start and one night at the end of your trek. The example costs assume standard accommodation in a private ensuite room.

On the trek itself, the price includes mountain tents (One or two people); sleeping mattress; a group meeting tent for meals and evening relaxing; a potable chemical toilet shared by your group (excluding support team).

A mess/group tent will be used for breakfast, (most) lunches, and a three-course dinner.

Paying your deposit

We accept payment and deposits by bank transfer in TZS, KES, USD, EUR, or GBP.

If paying in GBP or EUR the requested sum in USD will be converted using the xe.com mid-market exchange rate on the day the funds are requested and this rate will be Valid for 48 hours
